It’s been a busy and exciting couple of weeks with pitch work here at Nous Sommes and thankfully, all the hard work has won us a couple of new contracts (maybe we will be going to the Alps this year afterall)!
Keep your eyes peeled for new client introductions in the next couple of weeks, in the meantime thanks to Saj and Nimish for the recomendation.
I got a chance to see this in the flesh and have a little drive last Friday – it certainly turns a few heads! I’m really happy with the way Raccoon have translated the design, hopefully once it’s finished off properly it will be as Smart as we originally intended.
The guys at Space Cubed approached me about 8 months ago asking if I’d like to look after their marketing (apparently they had a bad experience with their last design agency). Obviously I said yes – they’re great at what they do!
In that time we’ve done some really interesting work with them – consolidated the brand, put all their assets in one place, sign written all their vehicles. And we saved them money while we were at it.
Here’s their new marketing tool – 56 plate, black Smart Car (Brabus) – I hope it looks this good when it’s actually been sign written!

Thanks to Mediaport for the printing, even bigger thanks for cutting them down for us! All we need to do now is put 3000 holes in them, string them with a piece of chain and decide who to send them to…
…then we’ve got to buy the stamps.
There’s only 600 sets, I hope people like them.
To get the ball rolling I’d like to introduce a few of our favourite clients, first and foremost, Audio Venue. We’ve been working together for the past 8 years and I’m proud to consider them good friends. Boasting 2 showrooms in the London area, with clients as diverse as rockstars and exclusive nightspots, these guys really are high end. If you’re an audio visual nut you should definitely check them out at either the Maidenhead store or the Ealing branch (pictured) – I guarantee you’ll be impressed.
Re-designing the main website between client work looks like it’s going to take a while, so I thought it would be a good idea to get the blog up and running. And so here it is; the first entry in what I hope will be a bit of an insight into the work, inspiration and people that make up Nous Sommes Design.
